This Data Retention Policy explains how Belmrad retains, stores, and deletes personal data and other information collected through our platform. This policy applies to all users of belmrad.com and our online education services.
Purpose of Data Retention
We retain data to provide continuous service delivery, maintain accurate records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and improve our educational platform.

Account Information
We retain user account data including name, email address, phone number, location information, and authentication credentials for the duration of your active account plus the retention period specified below.
Learning Activity Data
Session attendance records, learning progress, course enrollment history, instructor interactions, assignment submissions, assessment results, and personalized learning path data are retained to maintain educational continuity and track learner development.
Communication Records
Messages exchanged through our platform, support tickets, email correspondence, and live session chat logs are retained for quality assurance and support purposes.
Payment and Transaction Data
Payment transaction records, billing information, invoice history, and subscription details are retained for financial record-keeping and legal compliance.
Technical and Usage Data
Log files, device information, IP addresses, browser data, session recordings, and platform usage analytics are retained for security monitoring and service improvement.

Extended Retention for Legal Purposes
We may retain data beyond standard periods when required by law, necessary for legal proceedings, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or enforcement of our terms of service. Such data is isolated from active systems and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Data Deletion Process
Account Deletion
When you delete your account, your profile information and personal identifiers are removed from active systems within 30 days. Learning records and transaction history may be retained in anonymized form or as required by the retention periods above.
Automatic Deletion
Data that reaches the end of its retention period is automatically flagged for deletion and permanently removed during our scheduled purge cycles, which occur monthly.
Secure Deletion Methods
Deleted data is removed using industry-standard secure deletion methods including overwriting, cryptographic erasure, and physical destruction of storage media when applicable. Backups containing deleted data are purged according to our backup rotation schedule, typically within 90 days.
Anonymization and Aggregation
We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely for statistical analysis, research, and platform improvement. This data cannot be used to identify individual users and is not subject to deletion requests.
Data Retention for Inactive Accounts
Accounts with no login activity for 3 consecutive years are considered inactive. We will send notification emails before taking action. After 90 days from final notice, inactive accounts may be deleted along with associated data according to standard retention periods.
Third Party Data Processing
Third party service providers processing data on our behalf are contractually required to follow retention periods consistent with this policy or delete data upon termination of services, whichever comes first.
Your Rights Regarding Data Retention
You have the right to request information about what data we hold about you and how long we will retain it. You may request early deletion of certain data categories where legally permissible. Requests can be submitted to help@belmrad.com.
Updates to Retention Periods
We may update retention periods to reflect changes in legal requirements, business needs, or industry standards. Material changes will be communicated through email or platform notifications at least 30 days before implementation.
Geographic Considerations
Our services are provided from Ukraine and data is processed according to applicable Ukrainian data protection laws. Users from other jurisdictions may have additional rights under their local laws.
