Build Your Sound from Scratch
Learn music production through structured courses designed for real-world application. From basic DAW operation to advanced mixing techniques, each program moves step-by-step through production fundamentals while giving you room to develop your own creative process.
How the program is structured
Our curriculum splits into modules that address specific production stages. You start with software navigation and audio fundamentals, then move into recording, arrangement, and sound design. Each module runs for four weeks with two live sessions per week and additional practice assignments. The sequence is fixed because later topics assume knowledge from earlier modules, but you can repeat modules if needed.
Live sessions include screen sharing, real-time feedback, and group discussions. Instructors demonstrate techniques on actual projects, not pre-built templates. You work on your own material between sessions and bring questions or problems to the next meeting. Assessment comes through completed projects, not exams.
Available courses
Each course focuses on one aspect of production and includes hands-on exercises, downloadable project files, and instructor feedback during live sessions.
DAW Fundamentals
Navigate your digital audio workstation, configure audio routing, manage tracks and regions, and understand signal flow from input to output.
Sound Design Basics
Build sounds using synthesis methods, shape envelopes and filters, layer textures, and create custom presets that match your production style.
Mixing and Balance
Set levels, apply EQ and compression, use spatial effects, and build mixes where every element has its place without competing for attention.
Arrangement and Structure
Plan song sections, create transitions, manage energy flow, and arrange elements so the track develops naturally from start to finish.

Who teaches these courses
Our instructors work as active producers and have released material commercially. They understand current tools, workflows, and the practical challenges you face when building a track. Teaching sessions focus on demonstrating techniques in real projects rather than showing preset walkthroughs.
Feedback addresses both technical execution and creative decisions. Instructors point out where a mix needs correction but also discuss why certain arrangement choices work better than others. They show their own project files, explain their reasoning, and answer questions about their process.
